At New Hope Fellowship – Erie Baptist Church, we are a Bible teaching church. We believe that the Bible is God’s word and revelation of Himself to mankind, with His ultimate revelation being the Gospel message of redemption through the sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ.

We believe and the Bible tells us the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins as a propitiational sacrifice; He conquered death and rose from the grave on the third day; and we who believe in Him are justified by our faith on the grounds of His bloodshed for us, through the grace of our Father. We believe that all who come by grace through repentance and faith to accept the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become children of God. We believe in the eternal security of each believer.

We believe the Bible, from the first book of Genesis to the last book of Revelation, is the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God. The Bible is our supreme and final authority in faith and life. We teach directly from the Bible and rely on it fully to guide us in this world. We have a Biblical world view and not a view of the world without the Word of God.
